Apple Tasting for Psalm 34:8 Scripture Activity

Supplies Needed:

• Free Printable Pack (includes labels, recording sheet and Scripture prints)

• Variety of Apples

• Apple Slicer

• Plates or Bowls for Apples

• Pencils

• Coloring Supplies

Directions:

1. Introduce the verse, Psalm 34:8, and talk about its meaning. Just like you have to take a bite of food to know how delicious it is, we are called not just to hear about God's goodness, but to experience it for ourselves by building a relationship with Him.

2. Fill in your recording sheet with the types of apples. Then, color each apple to match.

3. Taste each apple and check off boxes on your recording sheet.

4. Let everyone share which apple was their favorite.

5. Practice the memory verse together and try coming up with hand motions.
