Easy Scratch Art Activity for Teaching Creation (Day 1)
Supplies Needed:
Cardstock Paper
Black Pen or Sharpie (to write verse)
Yellow Crayon
Black Acrylic Paint
Dish Soap
Paint Brush
Directions:
Cut a piece of cardstock in half.
Write “And God said, “Let there be light” Genesis 1:3” at the top or bottom.
Use a yellow crayon to fill in the rest of the paper. Try not to leave any white spots.
Mix black acrylic paint with a drop of dish soap. Paint it over the yellow crayon.
Let dry completely.
Use a dowel rod to scratch off the paint while talking about the first day of Creation.
