DIY Suncatchers for Teaching Creation (Day 4)
Supplies Needed:
Yellow, Orange and Grey Tissue Paper
Black Sharpie
Scissors
Clear Tape
Directions:
Cut your contact paper so that it matches the size of the paper template (8.5 × 11 inches).
Use a sharpie to trace the outline of the sun, moon and stars onto the clear contact paper.
Peel the backing off the contact paper.
Use painter’s tape to secure the contact paper to your table. The sticky side of the contact paper should be facing up.
Cut out tissue paper squares.
Add the tissue paper to the contact paper. It is okay (and works best) to go outside the lines!
Remove the painter’s tape.
Cut out the sun, moon and stars.
Use clear tape to secure them to a window that gets a lot of sun while talking about the fourth day of Creation.
